Richmond Highland Games

The MacMillan-Birtles Memorial Pipe Band performed at the Richmond Highland Games on October 27th in their last competition of the 2007 season.  The contest was very close between the top three bands with 1 point separating 1st and 3rd place.

Second Places at Anne Arundel

Both the Grade III MacMillan Pipe Band and the Grade V MacMillan-Birtles Memorial Pipe Band took 2nd Place prizes at the Anne Arundel Scottish Festival in Crownsville, Maryland, on Saturday, October 13, 2007.  The Grade V drum corps took first place in drumming.

Celtic Classic

The MacMillan Pipe Band competed in its third straight Celtic Classic Invitational this past weekend. For the third straight time, MacMillan came away with the 3rd Place trophy. Congratulations to the Celtic Classic for celebrating its 20th anniversary. Hats off to the Pipe Band volunteers for running such a fantastic weekend.
